Decorative Drapery Hardware Set up Tips- By: Aditya husukale

Description : Drapery hardware is more than only a means to hang up your draperies ; also, it is a decorative element for your house. Ornamental drapery hardware includes rods, finials, holdbacks, rings, and decorative brackets. Ornamental rods may also be traverse. You wish to consider the color, finish, and fabric of the rods. Finials add the perfect feel of elegance, whimsy, humor, and finish to your lovely window treatments. All of these options will affect the complete beauty and decorative style and balance of your house.
Most home window styles begin with the installation of a window curtain rod, the basis for holding up the valence, curtain, sheer, or drapery. When setting up a drape rod, it's always best to decide how far out from the window frame you wish the rod to stick out. Next make sure that the mount is positioned so that it is large enough that the drapes will cover the highest of the window. Inserting the mount more than the highest of the window by a very few inches usually appears much better. Keep the mount up and use a pencil to indicate the place of the bottom screw gap. Next drill a hole to the wall for the screw. Keep the mount back up and using the drill, put the screw in the base of the mount. Level it, and screw in the top screw.

If not already linked, insert the finials, the decorative curtain rod ends, on the rods. Using a stage, keep the curtain rod to the mount and begin raising the pole - do not stop until the rod is completely level on both sides. Once the mount looks properly hung, eliminate the pole from your mount. And then attach the window curtain panel or the window curtain bands to the rod. Place the pole back in the mount with the curtains joined - move back and check to see if your drapes appear to be correctly distanced.

Remove the drape pole from your mount. Unscrew 1 finial and either slide on curtain bands or the window curtain panel. Connect the window curtain to the bands if suitable, and hang the drape pole in the mounts. Measure up from the home window frame and out from the window frame the same distance as the first drape you set so that all subsequent mounts are equidistant and your curtains look uniform.
